Barnshill distillery

Lowland single malt Scotch whisky

Barnshill was one of many short-lived distilleries licensed after the Duties on Scotch Distilleries Act was passed in 1795. There is no Barnshill house or farm listed in Stirlingshire to provide clues to its location. There is, however, a Barnsdale House in the southern part of Stirlingshire.
