Not only will you have the chance to taste the best of homegrown whiskies from all over Scotland, but we will also have a good selection of whiskies from around the world for your delectation.

Throw in a smattering of tremendous workshops and ‘under the counter’ drams and the suitably glamorous surroundings of The Ebor Stand at York Racecourse, and you have a fantastic day out on the cards.

For the first time you also have a choice of sessions in order to ease the crowds slightly and make your life more comfortable! The sessions are 11am-3pm or 4pm-8pm.

Here’s what each ticket includes:

- Entry to one session, either 11am-3pm or 4pm-8pm.
- Glencairn tasting glass
- A bottle of water (for obvious purposes)
- The Festival Guide
- All whiskies sampled in main hall (not including ‘under the counter’ drams)

How the festival works:

Simply approach any of the exhibitor stands, ask politely for a dram and you shall receive a tasty glass of whisky (it really is that simple). Every exhibitor should know their whiskies inside out and it’s well worth taking advantage of this knowledge. They’ll be able to answer all and any whisky related questions you may have and will happily explain why their whisky is so damn tasty.

‘Under the counter’ drams:

The vast majority of whiskies on show are available to taste within your ticket price.
However, ‘under the counter’ token drams simply allow you access to some of the rare and more exclusive whiskies in the festival. We have two tiers of tokens available which can be purchased on the day: white tokens that cost £2.50 each and black tokens priced at £5 each.

As in previous years we have our friends from The Whisky Exchange at the show to take care of all your purchasing needs and selling every whisky that you will find in the show.

Please note:

- ‘Early-bird’ tickets are strictly limited and the offer will not be repeated once they are sold out.
- Please ensure you buy tickets for the correct session. We cannot allow customers to swap sessions on the day and you may be refused entry if you attempt this. If you mistakenly buy a ticket for the wrong session, please email us at least 28 days before the event and we will endeavour to change this at our discretion.

Please also note:

- Last pour is always 15 minutes prior to the session end time, as it always has been and always will be. Please do not complain on the day when you not served beyond this time!
- We do not send out paper tickets. Once you have booked your session, you will be emailed a confirmation and your name will be added to our event register for entry on the door.
