Show Show
Also known as the Islay Festival of Music and Malt, the annual show offers a week of traditional music, ceilidhs, Gaelic lessons, golf, bowling and, of course, abundant whisky tastings.
Throughout the week, each Islay distillery hosts an ‘open day’ where guests can learn about the distillery through a mix of masterclasses, tastings, distillery tours, dinners and more. From Lagavulin and Ardbeg to Bowmore and Bruichladdich, there is no shortage of festivities to keep whisky lovers from all walks of life entertained.
Tickets are now available to additional events taking place throughout the festival, including a whisky nosing and ceilidh night at Ramsay Hall Port Ellen on Monday, 29 May, priced at £20 per person; plus a folk night at Ardbeg distillery on Tuesday, 30 May; and a themed party night on Friday, 2 June centered on ‘Playboys – through the decades’, also at Ramsay Hall.
