Whisky fans based on the Australian Gold Coast should head down to Whisky Live Brisbane this 21-22 August for an taste of some of the world's finest drops.
Held at Hotel Jen on Roma Street, the show will give visitors the opportunity to sample whiskies from around the world, including the new Laphroaig 15 Year Old, which is being offered to guests as part of the Scotch whisky's 200th anniversary celebrations.
Those after something a little more mature can stop by the Rare and Old Whisky Bar for an additional cost, where samples are available from closed distilleries, limited and now sold out bottlings, and some very special releases.
Visitors seeking to gain more knowledge about their drams can stop by one of the tutored Whisky Live Education Presentations, which will explore a couple of special expressions not available in the main tasting hall.
Tickets include food and a memento tasting glass to take away.
