Balon distillery

Highland single malt Scotch whisky

Although records show it was active in Perthshire at the end of the 18th century, little more is known about the mysterious Balon distillery. Around this time many distilleries sought to ‘go legit’ by obtaining licences. It was also common for them to disappear just months later without a trace, a fate that seems to have befallen Balon distillery.
