Uhrskov Vine Profile

Uhrskov Vine is a family-run wine and spirits retail and online shop based in the city of Herning in central Denmark.

The store stocks a wide selection of independently bottled Scotch whiskies such as the Signatory, Adelphi, and Silver Seal Collections. It has also occasionally released some exclusive bottlings such as a 2002 Caol Ila by Gordon & MacPhail, bottled in 2013 exclusively for the Danish market.

Uhrskov Vine History

Uhrskov Vinhandel (or Uhrskov Vine) was founded in 1895 as a general grocery store run by the Uhrskov family. The store, on Broad Street in the city of Herning, continued in business for many years until it hanged direction and became a dedicated wine merchant, Vinhandel, in 1958.

Today the company is still a family-owned business and is currently ran by 4th generation brothers, Anders & Kristian Uhrskov. The shop remains in the Broad Street premises that it has now occupied for over 120 years.
