An anonymous single malt whisky designed to embody the spirit of Islay.
Highland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky
Glenalmond was first launched as an eight-year-old blend of Highland malts for European markets, and has since been available in a series of sporadically-released vintages. Considering its name, the blend may well contain malts from the Perthshire region – Glenalmond village is not too far from Glenturret in Crieff.
The brand’s flagship bottling is the no-age-statement Glenalmond Everyday, described as a ‘mellow, easy-going dram with honeyed notes of buttered toast’. Its core markets are Russia and Italy.
Glenalmond was of the first brands produced by the Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd in 1992 after the company was created by ex-Morrison Bowmore Distillers director, Brian Crook.
Glenalmond Everyday is currently being redesigned and will launch in the summer of 2017.
