Fife-based independent bottler Hannah Whisky Merchants is a low-key business that nonetheless was shortlisted for the Bank Of Scotland Enterprise Award in 2014. Based at Cameron Grove, Inverkeithing, the company is operated by Gregor Hannah, whose ethos is to only bottle whiskies from closed distilleries, or those with a limited turnout of a particular cask. Every bottling, released under the Lady of the Glen brand, is a non-chill-filtered single cask bottled at cask strength, identifiable by the series’ use of transparent labels.
Hannah has long been a passionate whisky enthusiast inspired by his father’s whisky collection growing up. He founded Hannah Whisky Merchants Ltd at the age of 27 in 2012, and has since bottled over 25 single casks.
