Wolsdorff Profile

German tobacconist Wolsdorff specialises in cigars, cigarettes and smoking paraphernalia, but also produces its own range of spirits. Over the years Wolsdorff has released a number of exclusive Scotch whisky bottlings for sale in its outlets, many of which have been hand-bottled. Releases have included expressions from from Bladnoch, Caol Ila, Clynelish, Glen Scotia, Laphroaig, Macallan, and Ledaig. Many releases are vintage bottlings and all are at cask strength.

Wolsdorff History

Wolsdorff was founded in May 1907 by Karl Ferdinand Wolsdorff in Georgsplatz, Hamburg. The company started out selling cigars from a single shop, but quickly moved into the sale of cigarettes, tobacco, pipes, and smoking accessories. Over time, Wolsdorff expanded to form a network of tobacconists across Germany.

In 1997, the company was purchased by Oettinger Davidoff Group, and today operates over 170 branches country-wide.
