Colt
This blended Scotch whisky was produced exclusively for the Swiss market.
Club 99 was a standard blend produced during the 1960s and ‘70s exclusively for the Italian market. Given its target market it was probably lighter in style than a comparable home market whisky of that period.
Club 99 was produced in the 1960s and 70s by Kintocher Whisky Co., and is now extremely rare.
The Rum Company of Basel (now based in Reinach) owned Kintocher Whisky Co. through its Glasgow-based subsidiary Acredyke Whisky Ltd of Bothwell Street, which was registered in August 1960.
One of the many blended Scotch whiskies produced by Kintocher Whisky Co. in the 1960s.
