Club 99 History

Club 99 was produced in the 1960s and 70s by Kintocher Whisky Co., and is now extremely rare.

The Rum Company of Basel (now based in Reinach) owned Kintocher Whisky Co. through its Glasgow-based subsidiary Acredyke Whisky Ltd of Bothwell Street, which was registered in August 1960.

  • 1960 Acredyke Whisky Ltd is registered in August, and establishes Kintocher Whisky Co. as a subsidiary
  • 1960s-70s Club 99 is exported to the Italian market
  • 1980s Acredyke Whisky Ltd ceases to trade
