One source places this elusive Paisley distillery north of the White Cart river at Linside Street, today residential, while others have it south of the river by the Espedair Burn, which is today totally culverted.

Blackhall History

Blackhall distillery was established circa 1780 by Alexander Dewar, who was sequestrated in 1788. Blackhall was never reopened again.
