Badarrach
Badarrach was a distillery situated just south of the Kyle of Sutherland in Strath Oykel.
The farm that was home to Richardtown distillery is located uphill and south of Darvel, a small town on the A71, about eight miles east of Kilmarnock. A cluster of streams near the farm merge to form the Richardton Burn that flows northwards into the River Irvine.
Richardtown distillery was licensed to William Wallace & Co. in 1795 but closed that same year.
The farm on which it stood still operates today.
