West Mill distillery

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Only one West Mill farm is listed in Perthshire today and it sits near Kinnaird on the edge of the Carse of Gowrie, north of the Firth of Tay. This possible location for West Mill distillery is about eight miles west of Dundee and more than a mile northwest of its postal village, Inchture. However, it is possible that 200 years ago the distillery stood at another West Mill that has since disappeared. The farm buildings at Kinnaird and Mill House are close to a burn that further downstream is marked Inchmartine Pow on OS maps.
