Alchemist Beverage Company Profile
Alchemist Beverages was the brainchild of Gordon Wright, a man with considerable distilling heritage behind him having worked at both Springbank distillery and with the Bruichladdich and Murray McDavid teams. He established an independently bottled range of whiskies and French brandies to showcase the stocks he owned upon leaving the latter two companies.
Alchemist Beverage Company History
Founded in 2005, Alchemy released sporadic bottlings sourced from Springbank and Bruichladdich – which reflected owner Gordon Wright’s personal history and involvement with these distilleries – as well as French Armagnacs and Calvados. The company was eventually dissolved in 2013.
