Huntly
Lost Speyside distillery located near Huntly, which was also known as Pirries Mill or Peiries Mill.
The lost distillery of Burnend was once situated beside the River Bogie, north of Pierriesmil farm in Huntly. The river, which lends its name to Strathbogie, flows eventually into the Deveron.
William Christie was licensed to distil at Burnend in 1824, and ran the site until it closed in 1829. Sadly no trace of the distillery remains today.
