Bestwhisky Profile

The whisky and spirits specialist based in Stuttgart, Germany, is owned by British expat Peter Sondheim who also operates the curious Piccadilly English Shop in the city. While Bestwhisky specialises predominantly in whisky, including some old and rare bottlings, it also stocks rum, gin, liqueurs and Port.

Bestwhisky History

Sondheim established the Bestwhisky shop in Stuttgart city centre in 2011. Bestwhisky began bottling its own malts only around 2012, although only a small number have been released since that time. Many are bottled under the shop’s ‘Preston’ series.
