Driftwood Profile

Highland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Driftwood was one of independent bottler Lombard Brands’ range of three no-age-statement Distillation Malts, designed to reveal regional characteristics.

Driftwood History

The Lombard-Chibnall family can trace its roots back 300 years, but the existing Lombard Brands company was founded by its CEO, Margaret Lombard-Chibnall, in the mid-1960s.

The group started out as a bulk supplier of whisky, and grew into blending and bottling its own brands.

Driftwood was launched in 2001 alongside Tidal Ebb and Pebble Beach as part of Lombard’s Distillation Malts series. The range was withdrawn in 2013 but Driftwood was redeveloped and repackaged as a solo brand.
