Littlemill Distillery Company
Once operator of Littlemill distillery in Dunbartonshire, now owned by Loch Lomond Group.
Loch Lomond Distillers is the trading subsidiary of Loch Lomond Group responsible for the manufacture, bottling and sale of the company’s Scotch whisky brands – including Glen Scotia, Loch Lomond, Littlemill, Inchmurrin and High Commissioner – and other spirits brands in the UK and overseas.
Loch Lomond Distillers was created by Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse Ltd. – the bottling and ageing arm of renowned blender Bulloch & Co. – in 1989 to operate the Loch Lomond distillery it had acquired three years prior.
It became dormant in the mid-1990s after Loch Lomond Distillery Company was formed to oversee the company’s wider Scotch whisky operations, which included Glen Scotia and Littlemill distillery acquired from Gibson International.
By 1998 the company name was changed to Eskbay before becoming EB Alexandria Ltd in 2014 following the sale of Loch Lomond Distillery Company to Exponent Private Equity.
The Bullochs still own EB Alexandria. Loch Lomond Distillers meanwhile was resurrected as the main operational subsidiary of Loch Lomond Group, responsible for the production and sale of Scotch whisky and other spirits.
